On Etikettenschwindel (Label Fraud), we present 15 tracks and a bonus track exploring power, war, double standards, and the absurdities of a world in which even resistance is supposed to become a commodity. Electronic force, hard-hitting guitars, highly catchy melodies, and lyrics that don’t hide behind hints or euphemisms.
The CD comes in a six-panel sleeve made from recycled materials and includes a 16-page lyric booklet with illustrations.

In our work, the image is an integral part of the music. Through our photoplays, we translate songs into satire, symbolism, and movement — sometimes funny, sometimes dark, rarely soothing.
Welcome
We are a four-piece band from Munich. Our sound brings together dark electronic rock, heavy guitars, male and female vocals, and ballet to create a distinctive stage language of our own. Our ballerina is not decorative accompaniment, but an equal and integral part of the performance.
Our songs explore power abuse, the pressure to conform, the unequal distribution of resources, neoliberalism, fear, social alienation, and the everyday absurdities and hardships of the present. Sometimes angry, sometimes melancholic, sometimes bitterly funny — but never arbitrary.
The result is electronic rock with a point of view: catchy, visually striking, and uncompromising.

Who are we?
WHY ARBEITSGRUPPE LOBOTOMIE (Working group Lobotomy)?
Our name is both a diagnosis and an antidote. Amid constant noise, outrage cycles, and manipulative oversimplification, independent thinking risks becoming an afterthought.
We counter this state of affairs with music that makes contradictions audible, asks uncomfortable questions, and offers no easy comfort.
